Volvo hits best-ever global sales

You’re not only in a great car, but you’re in great company when you choose Volvo. Not only were Volvo sales in the UK the best since 1991, increasing 7% over 2015, Volvo Car Corporation delivered it’s best ever global performance, selling 534,332 Volvo cars.

Leading Volvo’s success were the Volvo V40 with its distinctive appeal, refreshed clean lines and first-class cabin experience, and the Volvo V40 Cross Country with its stylish, off-road character. The Volvo XC60 followed close behind – the car for people with that special sense of adventure, always all-road and all-weather ready. The XC90 was also a strong performer, particularly significant as it is the first of Volvo’s cars to be built using the all-new SPA platform, powered by ground-breaking Drive-E powertrains and featuring innovative safety systems as standard.
