What is Motability? Choose everyday freedom As one of the most significant initiatives available for those with a disability, the government-backed Motability Scheme provides the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a brand-new vehicle from the likes of Volvo today. This scheme, which has been running since the 1970s, entitles eligible recipients of selected mobility allowances to exchange their benefit for the three-year lease on the vehicle that best suits their needs. What’s more, the scheme also comes with many extras included, such as full insurance and selected adaptations at no extra cost.

Am I Applicable? Featuring an all-electric range roughly between 182 and 188 miles* In order to qualify for the Motability Scheme, you should be in receipt of one of the following with at least 12 months’ award remaining:

● Higher Rate Mobility Component (HRMC) of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
● Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
● War Pensioners’ Mobility Allowance (WMPS)
● Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
