Hyundai i30 N Tested on UK Roads

Testing performance for road and racetrack with the Hyundai i30 N

It’s getting nearer every day. Following testing under the extreme winter weather conditions of Sweden, the Hyundai i30 N prototype has now been fine-tuned on some of the toughest roads in the UK. The Hyundai i30 N will be Hyundai’s first high-performance car, easily distinguishable by the ‘N’ logo, designed to resemble the racing elements of a chicane. Seeking out challenging, bendy roads and boldly going where no Hyundai has gone before, Hyundai engineers have moved on from the winter testing in Sweden to put the adaptive suspension and the i30 N’s different drive modes to the test on public roads in the UK. As the Hyundai i30 N gets nearer to production, Hyundai will also be entering it into the ADAC Zurich 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, complete with the production spec 2.0-litre turbo engine and six-speed manual transmission. It’s all coming together with this high-performance version of the Hyundai i30, ready for its launch this summer.
