Sweet music to the ears is news that Hyundai is back to sponsor the Mercury Prize Awards for the second year of its three-year commitment. Even sweeter is that Hyundai is giving away, through social media, the first Hyundai KONA in the UK to one lucky entrant. The Hyundai Mercury Prize Awards put Hyundai firmly in the title of these prestigious music awards, but Hyundai is determined to be fully involved in a variety of innovative ways to make the most of these awards for music lovers.
Under the banner of ‘Find your Rhythm’, Hyundai has launched a huge social media campaign, where you can enter to win the amazing all-new KONA. To enter, all you have to do is go to @Hyundai_UK on Twitter and tweet #HyundaiMercuryPrize, or go to Hyundai UK’s Facebook page or @HyundaiUK on Instagram, and comment on any post relating to #HyundaiMercuryPrize and you’ll be in the draw. Hyundai has also joined up with Boiler Room, where you can find exclusive films and posts about artists who have been listed for the Hyundai Mercury prizes, and you can hear more on Absolute Radio.
In addition, Hyundai is providing a fleet of Hyundai vehicles to transport artists to and from the awards at the Hammersmith Odeon on 14 September. The vehicles will be proudly displaying the Hyundai Mercury Prize branding, but will also feature a Shazam code – just scan the code with your mobile device to have instant access to an augmented reality experience, including one of the artists and their shortlisted album.
